Montana State University has selected Langlas and Associates as the general contractor and construction manager for its new $35 million, 400-bed residence hall.
The university selected Langlas and Associates from a pool of six firms, said Walt Banziger, director of MSU Facilities Planning, Design and Construction. Langlas and Associates is a Montana-based company with offices in Bozeman and Billings. “We are very excited to be a part of this important project for MSU and to be working on it with such a great group of professionals,” said Steve Langlas, owner and president of Langlas and Associates. The competitive selection was made based on the firm’s qualifications and proposal, Banziger said. Categories evaluated included expertise, project approach, personnel needs and plans, innovation, bonding capability, scheduling approach and fee proposal and cost.
